In the past 3 days NCash, the token behind the IoT blockchain project Nucleus Vision saw a price hike of over 20%. Most of this rise is attributed to the recent announcement of a partnership with PayTM. PayTM is a financial services company offering services like banking, payments and shopping as well. Amid all the uncertainty surrounding the future of Cryptocurrency trading in India, Ncash’s partnership with PayTM was the kind of news that can drive the optimism for Crypto assets in India.
However, as of today the original tweet from Nucleus Vision as well as the Medium post stands deleted. Although it was announced as a partnership, it was just a pilot that was planned out. Some publications have explained the pilot’s working, you can read it there as the original post is not available.
When asked in the community where were they deleted, one of the community manager responded:
We are working on broader partnership with Paytm. We want to share full details with the community. Hence we removed half backed information. Team will get back with detailed information. Stay tuned
The above announcement is from the telegram group, no new declarations have come from Nucleus Vision on PayTM partnership on their other platforms like medium and Twitter.
Few days back we wrote about Nucleus Vision’s backers based out of India like Reliance Capital and Darshan Patel. We asked the question if the banks will be allowing them to deal with a Cryptocurrency business? There is a possibility that PayTM is taking its time to close a deal, even for a pilot, thanks to the uncertainty or as the community manager says ‘working on broader partnership’. Either way, Ncash did receive a good boost in pricing. It is trading at $0.042 at the time of this writing.
Here’s what was in the original tweet:
We’re excited to announce a pilot with Paytm, the Alibaba backed, Indian fintech giant. Under this program Nucleus Vision will increase user engagement with Paytm app at the point of sale. Know more : https://t.co/GYjYRMkhre#Fintech#Retail
