Binance Labs Now Accepting Applications for Incubation Program to be held in Asia

World’s largest Crypto exchange Binance’s Incubation Program is accepting applications for their Season 3. The program will give companies access to seed investment, mentorship, support and the large Binance network.

Binance currently leads the chart in trading volumes for cryptocurrencies, but the company has divested into various programs including an investment arm, charity, secure wallets for crypto and so on.

Binance Labs is the venture arm of Binance that incubates projects to help them build what they are set out for. In an exclusive interview with Coin Crunch India during Season 2, Ella Zhang, head of Binance Labs said

“The goal of Binance Labs is to enable BUIDLers to reach their goals faster by building efficient & sustainable projects which can add value to the the blockchain ecosystem and help it grow.

-Ella Zhang, Head – Binance Labs

Season Three Comes to Asia

The incubation which is an on-site program where selected companies will work from is set to begin in October and end in December, and it will be held in Asia. Where is Asia? That is still to be disclosed.

In the first season, Binance labs had teams such as SafePal (developing affordable hardware wallets), Akio Labs (obtaining insights from blockchain data), Nym (building a secure, private future for the Internet) and more.

For season two, the most relatable example for us in India will be of blockchain startup Marlin Protocol, working on enhancing network speeds, that secured $3 million in funding and launched its testnet recently.

What is Binance looking for?

For this incubation batch, Binance Labs is looking for fast-executing token projects from all continents, as well as infrastructure projects from emerging economies.

In particular, Binance will hone in on projects related to BEP 2, BNB adoption, gaming, DeFi, layer 2 scaling, governance tools and dApps from Europe/Asia/North America. From Africa/Latin America/Southeast Asia, Binance is looking for projects working on stablecoins, payments, remittances and trading infrastructures.
