If you wish to skip the details, register for the event here:

Blockchain has been a decade old technology and has proven to be a good tool for transparency in areas which are riddled with corruption such as Finance. But Blockchain cannot and should not be limited to just finance or digital money. Why can’t we tokenize assets like gold, silver, real estate?

Tokenizing real world Assets like how Bitcoin is or ERC20 tokens are is a dream for Crypto advocates. As crypto industry migrates from Initial Coin Offerings, to token sales on exchanges, the next progression can be about putting gold and piece of land on a blockchain. This will increase transparency and legitimacy of the assets.

But the real question is, can we do it? This is what we will find out at the Blockchain eWeekend event.

Bringing Real World Assets on Blockchain

In this online meetup, we are going to hear from startup founders who are trying to achieve this goal.

The speakers at the event are:

  • Tarusha Mittal – COO & Co-founder, Oropocket
  • Tushar Aggarwal, CEO & Co-founder, Persistence

The discussion will revolve around some key topics like:

  1. What does blockchain really solve when we talk about real-world assets?
  2. What kind of assets can we tokenize and what are the benefits?
  3. Examples of Real world Asset tokens and what will follow.

The floor will also open to the audience from time to time so they can ask questions to the speakers.
