On Friday, cryptocurrency exchange WazirX launched phone support for its users to provide real-time redressal of grievances. Users can now directly call the support team.
The seven days a week hotline is available from 9 AM to 6 PM IST (India Standard Time).
WazirX claims to see a surge in support requests by 400% since February 2021 due to the exponential growth in signups and volumes. Things became more difficult as around 40% of the support team was affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The surge of support requests has driven an equal proportion of the increase in the support team by 400%.
The exchange had announced a technical upgrade under its Project Raftaar in May 2021, which focuses on upgrading the trading engine. Equal focus is now put on the customer experience.
It claims to have reduced the time taken for grievance redressal from 16 days in May to 4 days currently.
In May, a user query would get the first response in around 6 days. Today, it takes around 14 hours, says the exchange. Furthermore, it is going to get live chat support soon.
WazirX’s focus on customer experience may drive the growth of its userbase further by making it comfortable and equally accessible for first-time users. Also, more users may want to enter the world of cryptocurrencies as they may be able to trust the ecosystem.
